Harnessing the Power of the Internet to Sell to an Online Market
For the
last two years, I’ve been researching and experimenting with the Internet and
how to develop and sell to an online market. I started by reading the books of
Seth Godin entitled "Permission Marketing : Turning Strangers Into Friends And Friends Into Customers" and Cliff Figallo’s “Hosting Web Communities: Building Relationships, Increasing Customer Loyalty, and Maintaining A Competitive Edge. ”
In time I’ve built some very successful online communities, joined and studied
online discussion boards (as of this writing, I’m a member of 95 e-groups, with
15 as owner and 6 as moderator) discovered free software that helped me develop
techniques and mount successful online marketing campaigns, and learned how to
optimize existing Internet products to support my online efforts at very
minimal costs. Today I’m in the process of launching a chain of online portals
that will bring all the results of my previous efforts to a higher and more
exciting level of development.
The beauty
of online marketing is that you can run it at a very minimal cost, (sometimes
even practically free), in the comfort of your own home (your only investment
would be a broadband connection), and can leave some of the tasks in auto-pilot
(so your system continues to work for you even while you’re sleeping). And yet
the rewards can be tremendous!
The good
news is that I’ve decided to share what I’ve learned through a half-day seminar
